An expungement is a process by which a person’s legal record of arrest or conviction is “sealed” or erased in the eyes of the law. Employers in fields such as medical, education or law, will have access to expunged records. After you have pled or you have been convicted of a crime, you may be eligible to have the conviction expunged from your record.
